By accessing the website, making a reservation, or entering the premises, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services. The Luminary is a private members' style dining and boutique casino salon, not an online gambling platform.

The Luminary offers contemporary fine dining, craft cocktails, live jazz, and private boutique casino tables including European Roulette, Blackjack, and Baccarat. The venue operates as a physical hospitality establishment in Mayfair, London, where all gaming activities are conducted in private salons under UK regulations. This website serves as a presentation and reservation platform only.

Definitions

For the purposes of these terms, the following definitions apply.

"The Luminary" or "we"
refers to the venue at 1 Mayfair Place, London W1K 4AJ.
"Guest" or "you"
refers to any person accessing the website or visiting the premises.
"Salon"
refers to the private gaming rooms within the venue.
"Smart Elegant"
is the dress code requiring smart, elegant attire; sportswear, shorts, and flip-flops are not permitted.
"Reservation"
refers to any booking made through the OpenTable platform or directly with our concierge.

Eligibility and Age Verification

The Luminary is an adult-only venue. All guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter, dine, or participate in any gaming activity.

  • Valid photographic identification (passport, driving licence, or national ID) is required for entry.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide satisfactory proof of age.
  • This age restriction applies to all areas of the venue, including dining and bar areas.

Verification Process

Age verification is conducted at the entrance and may be repeated at the salon entrance.

  1. Digital or physical ID must be presented upon request.
  2. We may use electronic verification systems where permitted by law.
  3. Failure to comply with age verification will result in denial of entry without refund of any reservation deposit.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly request that cancellations or amendments be made at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee.
  • No-shows may be subject to a charge and may affect future booking privileges.
  • For private salon bookings, a separate cancellation policy may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

Dining and Salon Conduct

Smart Elegant Dress Code

The Luminary maintains a Smart Elegant dress code to preserve the refined atmosphere of the venue.

  • Gentlemen are encouraged to wear collared shirts, tailored trousers, and smart shoes.
  • Ladies are encouraged to wear elegant attire; cocktail dresses, smart separates, or tailored suits.
  • Sportswear, shorts, flip-flops, and overly casual attire are not permitted.
  • The management reserves the right to refuse entry if the dress code is not met.

Conduct and Etiquette

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other patrons at all times.

  • Disruptive, abusive, or intoxicated behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Mobile phones should be used discreetly; photography is restricted in gaming salons.
  • The Luminary is a non-smoking venue, including e-cigarettes.
  • We reserve the right to remove any guest who violates these conduct policies without refund.
